The PERRIN Transmission Support reduces drivetrain slop and movement under hard acceleration, deceleration, and cornering, which allows your engine to transmit more power to the wheels. This means better, more accurate launches for drag racing and autocross-type events where you do not want drivetrain slop.
The factory "T"-shaped support has gaps that allow about 0.5" of transmission movement. The PERRIN Transmission Support is a larger, gap-free version that limits movement to just 0.1", keeping the transmission stable under hard driving and improving shift feel.
